Hi there!

I'm Romeo Montero (he/him), a freelance illustrator by night and a museum worker by day. I am based in Philadelphia, where I received a BFA in Illustration from Moore College of Art & Design.

I love creating vibrant and serene illustrations inspired by nature. Many of my illustrations center goats, Halloween, kids, and anything I particularly find cool. I am primarily an illustrator for books and graphic novels, but have experience creating event posters and artwork for bands.

On my down time, I go to local shows and head-bang the night away. I love surfing the web for new music, adding new CDs to my growing collection, cuddling with my cat Marshmallow, and spending time outdoors.
