Hi there!

I'm Romeo Montero (he/him), a freelance illustrator by night and a museum worker by day. I am based in Philadelphia, where I received a BFA in illustration from Moore College of Art & Design.

I love creating vibrant and serene illustrations inspired by nature. Many of my illustrations center goats, Halloween, kids, and anything I particularly find cool. I am primarily an illustrator for books and graphic novels, but have experience creating event posters and artwork for bands.

On my down time, I go to local shows and head-bang the night away. I love lifting heavy weights, browsing BandCamp for new music, and re-watching the same three shows over and over again. I love sour candy, cats, and music that is loud and heavy.
